About the artist

Brett J. Hart has been in the art business since 1995. Hart was raised in Alta Vista, Iowa and went on to earn bachelors degrees in Art and Design and Advertising from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. After spending time in Iowa and Minnesota, Hart currently resides on a acreage outside of Menomonie, Wisconsin, where he also works as a photojournalist. His specialties are woodburning, action photography and custom jack-o-lanterns, but is also skilled in drawing, painting, graphic design and carving.
